President of leading Eastern India colleges
As the grandson of a prominent, legendary journalist, he holds deep faith in the use of education as a tool of empowerment for the masses. He is also President of Shri Vishudanand Saraswati Vidyalaya, Kolkata's first Hindi-medium school affiliated with the WBCHSE, which has produced eminent figures such as former RBI Governor Bimal Jalan and industrialist G.D. Birla. He is also a member of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Council.
